Wood pellets are the cleanest biomass fuel in the world. Armstrong Wood Pellets meet and exceed all standards set out by the Kyoto accord, making our wood pellets ideal for replacing fossil fuels in burner applications, as well as domestic heating needs. Using these wood pellets has been proven to greatly reduce emission of greenhouse gasses, ash and other contaminants, making Armstrong Pellets the most ecologically friendly fuels anywhere. Armstrong Pellets are only made from premium wood chips such as Douglass Fir and Spruce. There are absolutely no plastics or other binders added into the creation of our pellets.
Armstrong Pellets exceed all of the Pellet Fuels Institutes standards for a premium pellet. Armstrong Pellets have the highest bulk density in the industry, bar none. This allows your pellet to burn longer and hotter. Armstrong Pellets have the least amount of fines per bag, ensuring a high quality and clean burn. To ensure this, the pellets travel over a 12-foot shaker screen, removing the fines. We then place the pellets on another 6-foot shaker screen to ensure you have the cleanest product possible. Armstrong Pellet has the distinction of creating the least amount of ash when burned, far less compared to any other product on the market. This means that your Armstrong Pellet is by far the most environmentally friendly pellet available.

At Armstrong Pellets, quality starts at the source of raw material. We have installed collection bins to keep sawdust and shavings clean and contaminant free. We then move this product to our totally enclosed storage hall where we do our blending.
After blending and hammering the material into proper particle size, we press 260,000 pounds of pressure through our Kahl pellet mills, creating a solid and dense pellet.
We have just recently installed additional coolers to slow down the cooling process resulting in less "case hardening", again making a superior pellet for our consumers. At Armstrong Pellets Inc. our mill operators check and record the bulk density and moisture content every hour, keeping our product more consistent than anyone else in the market.
Pellets are then individually packaged, covered and shrink wrapped into skids of 50 bags that weight 40 pounds each. This is all done by hand and with a good deal of care to ensure seals and quality.
